Ford Fold Flat System

This allows you all the space you need for loading up your surfboards or sporting kit. With folding second and third row seats, including rear seats that fold down flush, the S-MAX gives you up to 32 possible seating and stowage configurations.

Quickclear Heated Windscreen

When the windscreen mists up, you can clear it at the touch of a button. Heating elements within the windscreen also effortlessly clear ice on the coldest of days.

Auto Headlights

The lighting technology in S-MAX has been designed to make night-time driving easier, safer and more comfortable. The headlights automatically turn on when the sensors detect a reduction in light conditions (including when the rain-sensing wipers are in use), which means you won’t need to turn them on at dusk, at night, or when you are going through a tunnel. Rain-Sensing Wipers

With six levels of sensitivity, autowipers on the S-MAX spring into action at the first drop of rain, increasing in speed to deal with whatever the weather may throw at you. Aside from the added convenience, it’s one less thing to think about. Standard on Titanium and Titanium X sport models.

Touchscreen Navigation PLUS system with USB port and rear-view-camera

You’ll never get lost again with this state-of-the-art 7″ touchscreen navigation system. It features a rear-view camera for pinpoint maneuvering, colour display, destination input via voice, MP3 capability and Traffic Messaging Channel (TMC). It also includes a USB/MP3 player connectivity port so you can play your tunes wherever you are. Available as an optional extra.

Climate-controlled front seats

This will warm you up after a cold day in the ocean or keep you cool after a hot day on the beach.

Let the sunlight flood in with a panoramic sunroof featuring infra-red protection and an electric sunblind. Included as part of Titanium X Pack, and standard fit on Titanium X Sport.

Blind Spot Information System

This high-tech visual aid is designed to make those longer trips safer. As another vehicle enters your blind spot, the system alerts you with a discreet warning lamp built into the door mirrors.

MultiMedia DVD System

When you’ve got some downtime, you’ll find a DVD player conveniently located under the front passenger’s seat. The system features two LCD screens integrated in the front head restraints, an infra-red remote control as well as two infra-red headphones.
